ELIGIBILITY FOR PROMOTION TO DIPLOMA IN PART - II

All Candidates who have appeared for all the subjects and passed the D.Pharm-I examination are eligible for promotion to D.Pharm-II However failure in more than two subjects shall debar him/her from promotion to D.Pharm - II Class

DIPLOMA IN PHARMACY (PART-III) Practical Training

After having appeared in part-II examination of Diploma in Pharmacy. Candidate shall be eligible to undergo practical training in any of the following institutions.
Hospital or dispensaries or Pharmacy or Chemists and Druggists or Drug manufacturing units approved by Pharmacy Council of India to impart practical training.


MODE OF EXAMINATIONS

  Each theory and practical examinations in the subject mentioned in Table - I and II will be of three hours duration.
  A candidate who fails in theory or practical examination of a subject shall reappear both in theory and practical of the same subject.
  Practical examination shall also consist of a viva voce (Oral).


PERIODIC / SESSIONAL EXAMINATIONS MARKS

Three periodic tests in theory (20 marks) and practical (20 marks) each shall be conducted by the institute during each academic sessios. Average marks of best two periodic tests will carried over to subsequent examination. Unless fress periodic test marks are obtained. The periodic tests in practical would be assured on the basis of day to day class including journals records.
